I can't believe how long it's been since I updated my blog. I also never thought having three kids and homeschooling could be as crazy as it is...but whew, it is! I love it and would not trade it for anything in the world. Getting to have my kiddos home with me and seeing them learn and watching the light bulb come on when something clicks in their little brains is beyond anything I could have hoped for as a mom. It isn't all sugar coated of course, but we truly enjoy each others company. How thankful I am that I serve a God so awesome as to have given me the chance to be with my kids all the time. I couldn't imagine my life any better, even on days when I have to lock myself in the bathroom to save my sanity...haha! I hope life is treating all of you well and I will try to update more often!

Beautiful Fall Sunset!!
I LOVE sunsets! Especially in the brand new fall days when the temperature is just right. It gives me such a feeling of peace in a very crazy and busy world. I love to just slow down and see what He has done for me in my lifetime. His blessing are endless! Praise the Lord! God shows himself to me in the beauty of his perfect artwork. The world is His canvas and everything He paints is so beautiful! How awesome is our Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come! Blessed be His name!
The above picture is the same sunset as the first picture. I took my oldest son for a drive and showed him where my Grandparents farm used to be way out west of the town we live in. I pulled in the driveway of their old house that has been redone in so many ways but still feels like home in my heart. I so badly wanted to go inside and visit my dear beloved grandmother who past 21 years ago when I was only 10. As a child we don't look ahead to the future much and had I known at that tender age that she would soon be gone, I would have hugged her more and asked her questions about her life and childhood. Instead, I was outside with my cousins exploring, climbing trees, searching for treasures and just simply being a kid. Oh how I wish I could have known what was to come and oh how I miss my sweet Grandma Tillie. I am so happy that I can find peace in the fact that we will be reunited one day at the feet of Jesus. Oh what sweet music to my soul!

Homemade Pizza Goodness!
Nothing says "honey I love you" like taking the time to make a wonderful homemade pizza. It has fast become one of my husbands favorite meals. We have even fantisized about opening a pizza parlor. Wouldn't that be something!! Complete with an oldies theme and other down home cooking menu items would be a must. Oh how fun it could be!!
